Description
Everyone has a role to play in the research mission, and that is especially true for graduate students that choose to study at a preeminent global R1 research university. Standing at the nexus of research ecosystems as student researchers, faculty mentors, clinical and vivarium managers, and the tech transfer and commercialization incubator, we all support the research and innovation enterprise of the university.
The Graduate Student Grant Writing Boot camp is designed to prepare graduate students in pursuit of their research aspirations. Participants will walk through answering “why” as it relates to research, the importance of your research, writing development, library resources, research compliance and IRB. In this course, we will review case studies of dissertation completion grants, Fulbright scholarships, fellowships, and other research-focused grants designed to support graduate students.
